Rihanna & Eminem closed their Monster Tour on Saturday night by participating in the popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in front of their live audience of 45,000 fans in Em’s hometown of Detroit. The duo were leaving to go off of stage at the end of their performance when Eminem’s hype man Denaun Porter stop Em to refresh his memory that he had accept Dre Dre’s ALS Ice bucket Challenge to raise awareness and money for ALS research.
“I knew this shit was coming, but—tonight?” Eminem asked, before sitting down in the chair they had prepped for him LOL mean while Rihanna did the bucket-dumping. Eminem then turned and nominated his hype man, his producer Rick Rubin and bad gal RiRi herself, who initially didn’t want to do it of course. She turned to the audience for advice “Detroit, what you think?”. “Should I do it? I’m from the islands; I don’t do this ice shit! This ice shit doesn’t work for me.” LOL she then In the end accepted the challenge and participated.
Many celebrities spreading the word about the neurodegenerative disease Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). The ALS Association’s rules for the challenge require you to either getting a bucket of ice water dumped on your head or making a donation, but many people are doing both which I find very amazing, According to NBC the organization has so far raised $42 million.
