I am very happy that got this nasty dirty old racist out of a very well respected and elite Association. He does not deserve to own anything nor walk or sit next to any of this men & women of this association. What he said was utterly disgusting and disrespectful. It is very sad that racism is still alive and I hope all that was affected is happy now that this terrible man is now dealt with.

Today the NBA has announced that Clippers owner Donald Sterling is BANNED FOR LIFE and has fined him with the maximum amount of 2.5 million dollars that will be donated to anti-discrimantion groups, after he was recorded by his mistress making very nasty racist comments.

“Effective immediately, I am banning Mr. Sterling for life from any association with the Clippers organization or the NBA,” said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver during a news conference this afternoon in New York.

Silver also said he would immediately recommend to the NBA Board of Governors that they force a sale of the Clippers and that he would do “everything in [his] power to ensure that happens.”

Sterling has been owning the Clippers since 1981 and have been reported before showing his dislike towards African American people.

“As part of the lifetime ban, Mr. Sterling may not attend any NBA games or practices, be present at any Clippers office or facility, or participate in any business or player personnel decisions involving the team. He will also be barred from attending NBA Board of Governors meetings and participating in any other league activity,” said Silver.

The decision came just days of public outrage targeted at Sterling after an audio recording released that allegedly contained his voice saying very nasty racist comments to his mistress Vanessa Stiviano. That included NBA hall of famer Magic Johnson who was very outraged at the conversation because he really respected and believed that Mr Sterling was his friend! Saying to his then girlfriend to not post pictures of her and black people to her Instagram referring to magic and don’t bring them to his games.
